For those looking to do something other than the traditional Halloween party, we have some events that may just scare your pants off!  Does navigating a Haunted House, running through a dark forest, or being surrounded by deadly snakes, rattle your bones?  If yes, check below for your Halloween fix!

1. The Curse of Frau Mueller
Address: 50 Florida Ave NE, Washington DC 2001
Cost: $30
When: Running til November 2nd from 7 PM - Midnight

This is one of the few Haunted House attractions in Washington DC proper with 50,000 square feet of terrifying action on 3 different floors.  The event begins each night at 7 PM, so grab your friends and prepare to be scared!  Warning, if you suffer from any heart issues, best stay away from this one!

2. Fright Night
Address: 19790 Ashburn Road, Ashburn, Virginia
Cost: $20
When: October 25th, 26th, November 1st and 2nd from 7 PM - 11 PM

Prepare yourself for 30 minutes of terror, while you navigate the pitch black woods of Ashburn, Virginia (that a lone is scary enough).   What's cool about this event, is that it is produced by High School students from a Student Ministry and the proceeds are all going to great causes.

3. Night of the Living Zoo
Address: Smithsonian's National Zoo, Washington, DC
Cost: $30 (must be 21+)
When: Wednesday, October 30th from 6:30 PM - 10 PM

Get Wild for the Night of the Living Zoo!  Experience some natural monsters while you sip adult libations and snack on munchies provided by your favorite DC food trucks.  You get access to the Small Mammal House, Great Ape House, Reptile Discovery Center and Think Tank.  To top it off there is Undead (live) Entertainment and much more.  Live your Madagascar nightmare right here!
