World Cup fever is about to hit a high in Washington DC and around the world. After four long years, Brazil is now center stage for the largest sporting tournament. Even the casual soccer - futbol, football, whatever you want to call it - fan can easily get swept up in the nationalistic frenzy that is the World Cup. Washington DC area bars are far from oblivious to this, and many have come up with some great specials to attract World Cup revelers
 with deals happening throughout the month long tournament. We put together a list of some of the best bars in Washington DC, Bethesda and Arlington to catch the games at.

This German H Street bar will undoubtely packed for any matches involving Germany.   Biergarten Haus is known for their German style bar cuisine and their large German beers, which will allow you to live out your craziest 'Beerfest' fantasies.  The beer garden has a large outdoor patio & roofdeck with TV screens that will be showing all World Cup games.  Happy Hour on game days will not occur but food specials include chicken schnitzel for $17 and a two-bratwurst platter for $16. . They will open at 11 AM daily.
